Route 66 Brick Road Postcard

Originally built as IL Route 4, this section north of Auburn, IL served as Route 66's original roadbed from 1926-1930. After realignment, a beautiful 1.4 mile section of road was surfaced in brick, each laid by hand and completed in 1931.
