The Trump International Hotel and Tower rises above the historic Chicago “EL”. In operation since 1892, the “EL” serves the city and surrounding neighborhoods through eight rapid transit lines. It is the second-oldest rapid transit system in the United States, third busiest, and fourth longest and is given the nickname “EL” for its elevated track.
